The Faurecia plant in St Quentin, which specialises in car interiors, called on SERAPID to design a quick die change system for an especially low press.
SERAPID designed a manual cart fitted with a RollBeam to position an 8 tonne die for a press. The system was raised 70 mm from the ground to precisely adapt to the existing press and civil engineering. The installation of this system allows safe die changes in 30 minutes.
